I am writing this in order to express my interest in the position of Software Developer intern. I believe my time at the University of Central Florida and the experience I have gained over time would make me a strong candidate for this position. Please see below for my attached resume.

Through my coursework and individual projects, I have developed a well built basis of understanding the fundamentals of programming and software development most notably in Python and C. I had collaborated with a group in order to make a 2d tower defense game. I have also made a UCF themed logo using Python’s turtle feature. This project helped me further develop an understanding of how to structure coding and problem solving. These projects required time management, attention to detail, and collaboration which are all essential in an environment such as software development.

I am eager to contribute to Leidos as I am also committed to professionalism, innovation, and responsibility. I understand how important it is to work in such an environment and I am ready to meet those standards. I am also ready to work on meaningful projects that help people across the country while continuing to grow as a developer in areas like AI and machine learning.
